G.W. Carver Middle School

Showcasing a fictional, delightfully eccentric director of the Museum of French History, students will get whisked away on a fascinating journey through one of the most intriguing periods in French history: the late 18th century, as seen through the life and legacy of Marie-Antoinette, Queen of France. Students will discover how history, fashion, power, and art intertwined, and how these forces continue to shape our world today. They’ll be encouraged to draw connections between this iconic historical figure and influencers, trends, and cultural movements of the present.
